The color of the sky on a breezy romantic day circa the 1930s. This dress is bias cut from an interesting waffle weave crepe, which follows the curves of the body without revealing too many lines. The open boat neck pulls over the head and the dress has a snap opening closure on the wearer's left. The sleeves are fantastic. They are cut in a typical short bishop shape of the '30s yet they have been sewn with the pleats on the outside. As you can see this adds a certain sense of art deco structure to the shoulders which we fine lovely.
