DETAILS

Bill Blass, one of America's premier designers, got his start designing private label for retailer Maurice Rentner in the 1960s. This coat shows Bill Blass's cool clean understanding of line and shape as well as his taste for luxurious detailing and interesting combinations of materials from the beginning of his career. The mod cut coat is made from a cotton velvet in a warm toned black which has been entirely embroidered with silver lurex flowers in a Jacobean pattern. Added sparkle and shine comes from a row of beading around the collar, down the front and around the hem. the jacket is designed to be worn open as well and comes with a self fabric belt which ties. This coat would fit from a 2 to an 8 and possibly a straight figured 10.
