1970s Rare Early Holly Harp Ensemble Printed with Butterflies

This is a gorgeous blouse and skirt set by Holly's Harp, printed all over with the white silhouettes of butterflies. Made of an earthy red chiffon, both garments are constructed of several layers of the fluttering sheer to allow light and air to make them move like the wings of the creatures scattered across them. The top falls in draped folds and flutes over the shoulders and bust, and wraps around the back to tie as a halter neck with two long, twirling ribbons which fall all the way to the ankles. Worn together, the pair create a wonderful and unique ensemble, and they can be worn separately to create a variety of looks. The chiffon is beautifully finished at the fine edges, and the garments are constructed with care. This set is both lovely and whimsical, and is perfect for summer days, or those days when you need a dose of summer!
This is a very rare printed ensemble from the queen of California luxe boho herself. The chiffon gels to be a soft poly while the skirt with pockets is fully lined in the famous Holly's Harp silk jersey. In near mint condition this is a great versatile ensemble ready to be worn a myriad of ways.
