1970s Tye-Dye Hand Sequined Gown

$ 888.00

The process on the fading technique on this gown is mind blowing. They have done a repeating diamond pattern and in mixing and fading the colors in the shapes the embroiderer has built a tie-dye effect. An interesting inspiration for a high end beaded gown when one takes in the political and social movements of it's time. The dress has built in cups and is fully lined, there are a few darts on the sides where the previous wearer has made this dress smaller. There are at least two inches per side which could be let out if need be. Other than that this gown is in pretty good nick, retaining most all of it's original sequins as they are hand sewn on, not chain stitched.
