Beautiful construction and design from one of America's best designers. Known for his expert reduction of design we offer this fine gown from the 1970s. The gown is built on an internal bodice and sits securely as a strapless dress. The halter strap which wraps around the neck is more decorative than functional, drawing a long line down the torso into the cascading train. The train is also meant to be worn as a cape, what a way to make an entrance and avoid the cloak room at the same time, fabulous. This gown is fully lined in silk and detailed everywhere by hand.
Designer: BILL BLASS.
