Crepe And Lace Wartime Cocktail Dress

This wonderful crepe and lace dress has many dances left in it. The fabric is a rich and supple as the day it was made. The Chantilly lace in this beautiful mocha is strong and full. This dress is a bit tricky to date; it does feel a little late 1930s. However after seeing the Charles James exhibit at the Met with his taste for this shade of copper/nude/brown we feel it sits better in the 1940s. Flatteringly ruched up the front with the original side zipper.
