A majesty of 1930s bias cut design. The entire body of this gown has been pin tucked in a figure defining windowpane pattern. The pin tucking is again repeated in the masterfully draped"sleeves" Sleeves which read as such from behind yet appear as a capelet from the front, fluttering about as one graces the room. The upper bodice is cut on the bias as well and has been gathered into the most flattering of cowls. Add to this a skirt of godets that flounce when you walk and there really isn't one detail of this dress, which hasn't been thoughtfully designed.
