From the very early 1930s we have this ethereal dress of printed silk mousseline. Soft blue and green flowers vine across the body of this loosely cut and tiered dress. The skirt is cut in godets on the bias with an added flounce across the back of the hips. Quite the ingenious cut for a lady not quite possessing the svelte figure of the 1930s. The capelet collar adds another layer of air. It has been interestingly pin tucked with an abstract art deco pattern in contrast to the soft flowers. The original lining and self fabric belt are great original details telling about the great condition of this dress.
